2007-2009 AASA Restructuring Plan Documents

As Proposed by President Alan C. Tan, August 2007 through March 2008

Overview

The following documents were prepared to facilitate the implementation of the new Vision for the Asian American Students Association. They contain the revised Constitution of 2008 (draft and final), the revised Election Procedures used for the 2008-2009 Executive Board Elections and the 2009-2010 President-Elect Special Election. They will also contain the Listserv Operation Rules, the Checklist of Transition Planning, and other documents prepared to further move the organization's conversion to a Umbrella Student Organization representing the Asian American community to the University's Student Government.

These documents were prepared by the members of the Executive Board of the year 2007-2008 (Kalen Li, Jenna Lee, Elle Zhu, Lisa Li, Cathy Yee, and Alan Tan), who were responsible for implementing the restructuring of the Association, under the administration of President Alan Tan.
